Can you lend a hand at Upton Tourist Information Centre?
Upton Tourist Information and Heritage Centre is seeking friendly volunteers who can spare a couple of hours a week to help out.
Located in the oldest surviving building in Upton - The Pepperpot on Church Street - it is open throughout the year to welcome visitors to the Town.
The centre provides a wealth of information on the area’s attractions, events, accommodation and its fascinating history.
Regular staff members are on hand to help but additional volunteers are also needed on Tuesday and Saturday lunchtimes, as well as Thursday mornings.
Volunteers provide a warm welcome to visitors as well as offering information and advice on the area, history of the building and selling gifts.
Simon Smith, Economic Development Manager at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “Upton Tourist Information and Heritage Centre is a hub of culture in the centre of a thriving town rich with history.
“Volunteers are an essential and much-respected part of providing a warm welcome to tourists and supplying them with all the information and advice they need.”
