Health and Wellbeing

Malvern Hills District Council and Worcestershire County Council's Public Health team are working in partnership to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents, to ensure they are healthier, live longer and have a better quality of life. In order to achieve this there needs to be a greater emphasis on prevention, early intervention and early help.

Malvern Hills District Health and Well-being Plan 2016-21

There are a number of key organisations that work in partnership to improve the health and wellbeing of residents known as the Malvern Hills District Health and Wellbeing Partnership. To deliver against the Worcestershire health and wellbeing priorities, we have developed the Malvern Hills District Health and Well-being Plan 2016-21 which is delivered by a number of partners.

Living Well for Longer Event

The Living Well for Longer event, as part of Malvern Hills and Wychavon Wellbeing Week, took place on Thursday 10 October, 10am-1pm at the Regal Cinema, Tenbury Wells, in support of World Mental Health Day. A number of local organisations were on hand to promote services and activities available in the area to help residents age well and live independently in their own homes for longer.
